Chess is more than just a game—it’s a fun way for children to build critical thinking, concentration, problem-solving skills, and confidence. Our Beginner Chess Club is designed for children ages 6–12 with little or no chess experience. In a supportive and encouraging environment, students will learn the fundamentals of chess while making new friends and enjoying the game.
Each session includes a short interactive lesson followed by guided games and practice, giving students plenty of opportunities to apply what they’ve learned. Throughout the 16-session program, children will develop their skills through weekly play and friendly competition. The season concludes with a Chess Tournament, where the top 3 players will receive trophies in recognition of their achievements.
